TLC “90 Day Fiancé-Happily Ever After” fans undoubtedly have heard of Larissa Dos Santos Lima’s sudden arrest – and quick release – by officials of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, or “ICE”. The first place most supporters of Larissa’s minds jumped was to wonder – and accuse – Mama Debbie Johnson or Larissa’s ex-husband Colt Johnson of calling them!
90 Day Fiance – Larissa And Eric Nichols Were All Packed Up And Ready To Move
Both Larissa and her current squeeze, Eric Nichols had posted in recent days about their move from Las Vegas, Nevada to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Just as they were ready to hit the road, here came the law! Larissa was detained for a short time for as yet unrevealed reasons and quickly released. There has been some buzz that an unknown whistleblower reported Larissa for porn, referring to her “Only Fans” account, but until Larissa or someone close to her tells the story, it is only hearsay.
Her friend Carmen, whom she had been staying with before she moved in with Eric, reported the arrest on Instagram. She posted the news as she was standing with Eric, who was blindsided as ICE took Larissa away as she was walking out of their house to get in the U-Haul truck! Her representative, Lindsey Feldman soon told TMZ that Larissa’s legal team was involved to clear up the mess.
However, there was already fan gossip on social media that Colt and Debbie or Debbie herself must have called ICE. It would be a logical assumption, considering that Colt had canceled her green card process shortly after they split up, leaving Larissa worried as to if ICE might show up at her door to deport her.
TLC 90 Day Fiance – Debbie Johnson Lashed Out
Shortly after Debbie became aware of the situation, and that fans had been buzzing about her and Colt calling ICE on Larissa, she lashed out! There had been lots of comments on the Instagram page of “90 Day Fiancé” blogger John Yates, accusing her and Colt of being the whistleblowers. They were quick to blame Debbie herself, even though Colt had previously taken the actions to cancel his affidavit of support, stopping her green card application in the process. Debbie vehemently denied the allegations, saying she and Colt had nothing to do with the arrest.
She admonished fans and followers to not spread lies about something they knew nothing about and asked not to tag her. She didn’t know why Larissa was picked up just as she was about to leave the state, any more than anyone else did. Viewers and fans sometimes do take sides, supporting one person or the other in a couple, and maybe someone out there in TV land who loves Colt and Debbie and hates Larissa made the call; but that is only speculation.
Larissa recently announced a new YouTube channel to premiere on September 30 and was soliciting questions from fans on Instagram. She also said she was going to tell all about her children in Brazil and her family there and attempt to clear up anything that was not going to play out on the show. She will likely talk about this incident as well.
