‘Alaskan Bush People’ News: Bear Brown Meets His Son River For The First Time

Discovery Chanel Alaskan Bush People spoilers reveal the happy news that show star Bear Brown has finally had the chance to meet his infant son, River. The coronavirus pandemic got in the way of Bear and River connecting until the boy was six months old and it certainly didn’t help matters that the two of them are living halfway around the country from each other.

But now we have word that River’s mom Raiven traveled from Texas to Washington so that her ex could meet their son and get in some quality bonding time.

Bear Brown finally met his new son after a 1,500 mile trek brought them together for the first time

Bear posted a pic on his Insta to commemorate the big day. In the photo River is laying on a snuggly white fleece blanket on the grass between his sitting mom and dad. He has a pacifier in his mouth and he looks adorable in a little plaid shirt.

Both Bear and his ex fiancée Raiven are smiling as they must be very proud to have created such a sweet little boy. Bear captioned the snap, “Went on a picnic.”

According to Bear, the little fam had, “been video chatting” for the past six months. In their first family photo, Raiven is holding River’s tiny hand as it looks like he might be about to fall asleep. It’s a little too early to tell who he looks like at this point.

Bear posted, “It was so awesome to finally get to see and hold this beautiful little baby! River is perfect! It was great to see Raiven too!”

Prior to their meetup the ex’s had not been in harmony

Fans will be happy to see the family smiling as there had been a riveting drama playing out between the adults in the past. Harsh words were exchanged and Ravien revealed that she was pregnant after the once happy couple called off their wedding.

Following that turn of events, Raiven filed for a restraining order request against Bear in February. At that time she accused him of “erratic” and “abusive” behavior.

The request was dropped just days before she gave birth to River, and Bear filed for joint custody of his son in March. Still, Raiven has insisted on “restricted visitation” with their son, but after months of fighting the couple has reached a mutually acceptable custody agreement.
