‘Little People, Big World’ News: Amy Roloff Selling COVID Masks, Some Fans Thinks It’s A Rip Off

TLC Little People, Big World spoilers indicate that star Amy Roloff is bringing the heat from fans appalled by what she’s selling. It seems that the industrious Amy has hit upon the idea of making lemonade out of lemons and some see it as crass and are calling her out for it.

Amy’s latest business venture is connected to the ongoing pandemic. As in, she is making and selling face masks.

They’re actually cute and seem to be made well and you can buy them in Halloween and fall prints. That’s not the problem. The issue seems to center on how Amy is hawking her wares.

Amy Roloff is selling Halloween and autumn-themed masks

She is promoting the goods on Instagram with a photo of the masks and two people wearing a mask with the caption: “Our Holiday Mask 3-pack is still available in my @amyroloffslittlekitchen shop! 😃 They’re handmade locally here in Oregon, using 100% cotton and comfortable knit ear loops, plus they have an inside pocket to add an additional layer of filter material. The 3-pack comes in fun Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Holiday fabrics, so you can stay safe and festive for the rest of the year! 🎃 🦃 🎄.”

Fans are crying foul on Amy Roloff’s mask business

The masks are typical face coverings, appearing to be as her pitch said. But at $40 for a pack of three, some fans are livid at the price, thinking she could be taking advantage of a bad situation.

One fan responded that the masks would have to be gold plated to merit that price, while another actually wrote, “shame on you.”

Others pointed out the masks wouldn’t be needed much longer (we all hope) and that $40 was a bit much for the “average” consumer.

Truth be told the masks look to be made with fabric bought from a typical big-name chain craft store and beauty is in the eye of the beholder—many fans were excited to buy one of Amy’s masks.

People are upset with Amy Roloff for selling COVID face masks

Despite the hostile comments the fact is that Amy has been successful, having to restock the masks sets after they sold out; so plenty of people are buying the masks despite the price point.

What do you think LPBW fans, is Amy Roloff profiting off of her mask business a tad unsavory given that a pandemic is raging around the world?
