The Bachelorette Season 16 Spoilers: Clare Crawley Claps Back At Her Haters For Criticizing Male Strip Dodgeball

ABC The Bachelorette Season 16 spoilers say that Clare Crawley doesn’t have the time, the patience, or the energy to deal with her critics and her ‘haters’ this year. It took no time at all for the blonde beauty to clap back at those who criticized her after she apparently “egged on” male contestants to play a game of strip dodgeball. At the end of the game, her potential suitors were left with nothing more than a thong.

Thankfully, producers of the show used black boxes to censor the game, but it wasn’t enough for critics to take to their social media accounts to express their distaste for the game. In fact, some even pointed out that there was a double standard on the show, as this would have never happened on The Bachelor with female contestants. Others went as far as to say that it would have been pulled off the air if such a stunt was pulled with the opposite sex.

Some critics wrote to Clare on Twitter with comments such as, “ It’s awful you had the guys take off their clothes if The bachelor asked the women do the same things all heck would break loose. You were wrong. Juan Pablo should have had you strip.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for Clare to respond. Sharing a photo from a date with her former suitor Juan Pablo, where contestants Andy Dorfman and Lucy Aragon were made to strip down to their birthday suit for an animal adoption campaign, she captioned it simply with, “You mean like this?”

The Bachelorette Season 16 Spoilers: Should Contestants Strip On Television?

This isn’t the first time that the franchise has been criticized for making contestants bare almost all in front of the cameras. Peter Weber had his dates play lingerie wrestling while Chris Soules had his dates ride a tractor with a bikini on through Los Angeles.

Other fans pointed out that the contestants felt uncomfortable, which made viewers feel uncomfortable too, especially in the new #MeToo era. So far Clare Crawley has not made any additional comments about the controversy.
