How to stay in it even when you’re exhausted? It’s not easy. These are trying times for all people. But here’s how I do it. 💫 I think about the people I work with. When you think of yourself as a part of a larger picture made up of people with complicated and dynamic lives like your own, it brings back a “community” or “compassionate” based way of being. You can feel in your heart (which is love based) that you have more to give from that open loving and caring place. It allows you to keep giving it your best and showing up for each other. That’s how I get out of bed on the days that I am exhausted or in an autoimmune flare. …I think about others and how they are doing the same. And it makes me feel that beautiful connection. I want to be there for everyone because we do it together. From the PA to the engineer, to the script team, to the lighting designer, to the grips, to the best boys, to the camera ops, to the prompter operator, to the sound guys and DJ, to the props and the set teams, to the choreographers and creators, to the caterers, to my hair and make up and stylist team, to the producers and executives, to my fellow cast mates, and those who watch us…. we all do it together and we show up because we are all a part of a larger whole, interdependent upon each other. Remember, “No man (or woman, or anyone) is an island.” Let’s stay strong and nourish each other through our compassion and sense of community. @carrieannconversations @thetalkcbs @dancingabc #inspiration #covidhealthtips #autoimmunedisease #autoimmunewarrior
