ABC Dancing With the Stars spoilers reveal that the show has had plenty of controversy since its 2005 debut. This summer the ish hit the fan when longtime hosts Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron were replaced with super model Tyra Banks. Last Friday the fan got another workout when Gleb Savchenko and his wife Elena Samodanova announced their split and she accused him of “ongoing infidelity” and a “recent inappropriate relationship.” That caused his celeb partner Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause to deny that she was a homewrecker.

#1 Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess Win Dancing With the Stars
Tons of fans were stunned, and not in a good way, when uber popular radio host Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess won in season 27. Many thought that several others were much better than him including front-runner Milo Manheim, actress Evanna Lynch and model Alexis Ren. Later Bones admitted he didn’t win because of his dancing skills but because he had loads of fans.
#2 Carrie Ann Inaba vs. Hannah Brown on Dancing With the Stars
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was tough on former Bachelorette Hannah Brown during season 28 which had many fans crying foul. The tension got to the point that when Inaba tried to hug Brown the reality star refused; But she got the last laugh, winning the season.
#3 Sean Spicer is cast on Dancing With the Stars
On Season 28 even Bergeron was aghast that former controversial White House press secretary Sean Spicer was cast. He said he wanted, “a joyful respite from our exhausting political climate and free of inevitably divisive bookings from ANY party affiliations.” Sorry Tom, that didn’t happen.
#4 Protestors Rush the Dancing With the Stars stage
During season 23 former Olympian Ryan Lochte was signed. He had just been dragged for allegedly participating in a robbery. After his first dance two protestors rushed the stage letting the world know they disapproved of the hunky swimmer. Lochte said he was, “heartbroken.”
#5 Was Julianne Hough a fair judge on Dancing With the Stars?
Pro dancer Julianne Hough judged in season 19 when her brother Derek Hough appeared as a pro dancer—uh, conflict of interest anyone?
Former pro Karina Smirnoff called out the dubious decision saying, “I think that she is wonderful, gorgeous, and talented, but I don’t know if it’s ethical that she is judging while her brother is competing.”
