Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) Season 11 Preview Video: Why Hello, Erika Jayne!
We have two words for you when it comes to one of the main reasons that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) fans are going so gaga for Bravo TV’s sneak peek of season 11: Erika Jayne.
For those who need a refresher on this reality TV celebrity: Erika Jayne, 49, filed for divorce from her husband Tom Girardi, 81. The couple had been married for more than 20 years, but Tom now faces allegations of fraud along with lawsuits.
In the season 11 RHOBH trailer, Erika played the role of “I’m soooo innocent and naive” victim.
“I did not see it ending this way,” claimed Jayne. “I was gonna hold that man’s hand until he died.”
Marking Erika’s first time talking about the divorce, the RHOBH also showed Jaye’s co-stars asking her more questions than Andy Cohen at a typical Real Housewives reunion. And just like at those reunions, the questions resulted in flare-ups.
Garcelle Beauvais, for example, asked Erika if she had gotten divorced after getting a “heads up” about the lawsuits.
“No, I did not,” insisted Jayne.
Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards also questioned Erika about what she knew. But Jayne blamed her soon-to-be ex husband, insisting, “No one knows the answer but him.”
Reddit Takes Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 Preview Video Viral
On Reddit, the reaction to the full version of the RHOBH season 11 preview trailer went viral.
The social media community cheered for some of the best lines and fashion choices. One sort-of new RHOBH star, Sutton Stracke, appeared on season 10 in a “friend of” role and is now an official Real Housewife.
In true Reddit “we’ll say what we want” approach to comments, video viewers were not impressed by her fashion choice.
“Sutton’s wearing an overpriced night shirt!” pointed out one Reddit commentator.
In addition to Sutton, Crystal Kung Minkoff has joined the RHOBH as a new Housewife. Cast members turning include Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika (Jayne) Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, and Garcelle Beauvais. And keep an eye out for Kyle’s older sister, Kathy Hilton, will play the “friend of” role.
Reddit RHOBH fans also appreciated Dorit’s slams for Erika Jayne.
Dorit was one of the few who tackled the lawsuit and didn’t hesitate to grill Jayne with questions.
And one fan summed up what to expect.
“Ah, a whole season of people Sutton and Garcelle calling out Erika, Erika pulling out her Tough Girl voice, dropping a few F bombs, and then crying for sympathy. Lather, rinse, repeat as needed,” joked the RHOBH fan.
Kylie also came in for her share of slams, with some pointing out that she appears to be “crying about being an empty nester when she actually isn’t an empty nester…
She’s going from carting [her daughter] Portia around on her back and practically pre-chewing her food for her to shoving her in the closet like she doesn’t exist. Wow! So empty!”
