While it’s been no secret that Meri and Kody have had their issues for some time – with Meri even hinting that she is looking to get a divorce – the reality star shared a cryptic post on social media this past week in which she insinuated that things are as bad as they look.

Meri’s quote said, “In order to heal, we have to be aware of the pain we have caused other people. We have to be willing to apologize and be accountable to it.” The words come from inspirational speaker Sylvester McNutt.

Things are so bad that Meri had even hinted that she and Kody haven’t gotten intimate with one another in a very long time. For how long though, no one knows. If that weren’t enough, Kody even suggested that he might not be attracted to his first wife anymore, as he said in one of the confessionals that there has to be a “spark” for Meri to get the full marriage and sexual relationship she wants from him.

When the couple tried to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary together, they instead exchanged awkward words about the current state of their relationship. Meri even told him in the car, “Here we are, celebrating our non-anniversary because we are not a couple, but we are a family. You and I have not been out together since last year’s anniversary, which is fine. It is it what it is.”

Now, as far as whether or not Meri and Kody’s marriage will last by the end of this year, remains to be seen. Watch this space.
