Jill Dillard Reveals Why She Freezes Samuel’s Stuffed Toys
Jill Dillard sometimes shares about sorting out toys, changing out games for the boys, and organizing her closets. So, many Counting On fans follow her for her parenting tips. This week, she told fans about freezing stuffed toys. Some people never even thought about it before. So, they seemed grateful for the tip. So why does she do that? Read on to find out.
Jill Dillard Reveals Something About Her Son Samuel
Recently, Samuel turned four years old and he enjoyed a special birthday. His mom and dad spoke with Uncle James Duggar who brought around his bg fire engine. So, the kids enjoyed a ride in it. Plus they ll took turns firing off the water cannon. Sam and his brother, plus the kids in their community had a real blast! But since then, more news came out about Israel and Sam.
Jill Dillard and Derick took the kids camping. It looked like they enjoyed exploring the park at the Buffalo National River. The kids explored around, and Derick took over the duties as camp cook. Plus, the kids went for a drive with their dad and saw a lot of Elk. However, one thing that Jill didn’t mention, is that Saneul suffers from allergies. So, they probably kept a close eye on him while they camped out in the wilderness.
Jill Dillard Explains That Samuel Suffers From Chronic Allergies – Freezes Toys
Taking to her main Instagram, Jill Dillard shared that she took Sam’s stuffed toys and popped them into the freezer. Well, she also told fans to check out her stories for more details. There, she explained that Samuel suffers from terrible dust allergies. So, to stop that, she freezes his stuffies. It all came about his week, as she went into the garage to get out some clothes that he’d grown into, and a few other things. Before the TLC star knew it, Sam started getting red eyes and sniffles. So, she gave him some meds that the doctor recommended.
Jill Dillard said that clearly, some of the stuff from storage accumulated some dust. So, she thought she better deal with it. In her Stories, she explained that she places the stuffed toys in bags to prevent them getting water in them. Then, she pops them into the freezer for two days to kill the dust mites. Additionally, she noted on her main Instagram, that it does away with the need for washing them. She wrote, “The allergist recommended that if we can’t/don’t want to wash all of his stuffies all the time, then we can freeze them!“
Counting On Fans Comment On Frozen Stuffies
Grateful fans commented about the tip and some people said they never really thought about dust in the stuffed animals. One of them said, “Thanks for sharing!! We have giraffey in our house going on 11 years 🦒🦒!! Allergies out of this world!! Freezing right now 💙💙.”
