Bachelor in Paradise: David Spade Not Happy About Living Conditions in Paradise

Apparently, life in Paradise isn’t what host David Spade had hoped for and he delivers the news hilariously in his August 16 Instagram monologue.

The 57-year-old SNL veteran let on that his stay in Sayulita, Mexico wasn’t quite what he expected, joking that, “Dump is a strong word. It’s not a dump. It’s not,” Spade, 57, joked, saying, “No, it was a really nice room, but the problem is everything doesn’t seem nice when there’s crabs everywhere.

The guest host continued his rant, saying, “I don’t have a lot of interaction with crabs, so I don’t really have an opinion. I think they’re fine,” and to clarify, he joked, “My only interaction is maybe a California roll, to be honest. And that’s very brief and they’re already croaked.”

He goes on to do emphasize just how many crabs there were, how big they were, and that they were on his bedroom adding some hilarious crab impersonations.

Bachelor in Paradise: Paradise Has Changed a Bit

Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise will see a whole new crowd of beautiful people come together on the show to mingle and perhaps fall in love, this time in Mexico.

It’s been two years since Bachelor in Paradise has had a new season hit televisions and there have been changes.

The location has remained unchanged since the last season aired but the hosts seem to be on a revolving door.

Filmed in late spring, the show wrapped on July 26 and, according to Yahoo Life, the filming seemed to be timed to fall between Katie Thurston’s and Michelle Young’s Bachelorette seasons.

Bachelor in Paradise: Location, Location, Location!

Filmed at a historic location, the Playa Escondida resort in Sayulita, Mexico, the beaches are beautiful and, despite what David had to say about it, the resort itself doesn’t fall far behind.

Notably, the resort has multiple infinity pools with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

The resort’s bungalows are spacious and luxurious while still featuring a tropical flair and you can practically smell the sea air from the room.

According to the resort itself, there are “32 Unique rooms that perfecly harmonize with nature, Playa Escondida is an experience you have to try, not just once but many times in your life.”

And, as you can see below, the beaches are vast and beautiful.

So, despite what David Spade had to say, fans can see for themselves that this resort is a special and unique place with stunning ocean views and beautiful blue ocean waters and sandy beaches – a veritable Fantasy Island.

Catch Bachelor in Paradise Monday and Tuesday nights at 7 PM on ABC.
