My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Chase Got Lonely Due to the Pandemic
The popular reality TV star and Chase met on New Year’s Eve back in 2018 and began dating shortly thereafter.
Throughout season 6 of My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans got to watch the couple’s relationship evolve.
The two eventually went on vacation in Paris where Chase, enamored by Whitney since day one, popped the big question.
After the COVID pandemic hit, the two were forced to live apart with Chase living in Wilmington and Whitney living hours away in Charlotte.
We can imagine that the loneliness was more than Chase could take as he eventually began an affair with his ex-girlfriend.
Eventually, Whitney discovered the infidelity as well as the new child that the affair had spawned.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Chase’s Big News
Fast forward to the most recent episode of My Big Fat Fabulous Life and we see Whitney meeting with Chase as he had something to share with her.
This was naturally a puzzle for fans to take in as Whitney was only recently able to move on from the heartbreak.
Evidently, Chase’s big news was that he was going to propose to his new girlfriend, Sara.
Whitney told cameras that it felt weird, meeting with Chase after so much time had passed, saying that it was a “shock.”
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: A Metting Between the Estranged Seemed a Bit Strange
Viewers seemed to think that the meeting was merely arranged by producers of My Big Fat Fabulous Life and that most couples that split due to infidelity don’t usually go out of their way to meet up and discuss one another’s separate lives.
After having received a lot of hostility from fans of the show since the cheating incident Chase explained that he didn’t want to share the news on social media, but he did get around to breaking the news to Whitney.
Though it was still strange seeing the two together, it didn’t turn out as bad as fans would have expected.
The new father and former reality TV star had expressed that he was initially concerned that Whitney had been grudging and that she would bring it up when he tried to break the news to her but was pleasantly surprised when humor was instead on the menu.
